YOUNG POSSE

YOUNG POSSE, a dynamic K-pop girl group created through a collaboration between DSP Media and BEATS Entertainment, burst onto the scene on June 22, 2023. This exciting announcement marked the debut of a fresh five-member girl group, the first one introduced by DSP Media since APRIL in 2015. Their moniker, Young Posse, was unveiled on July 12, drawing inspiration from the Latin word "posse" meaning "can do" or "possible". The name YOUNG POSSE encapsulates the idea of a group of young individuals coming together with a purpose, emphasizing the power of collective effort towards achieving goals. Striving to showcase unity and determination, the group made their public introduction on July 16, 2023, at the RBW label concert hosted by DSP's parent company. Anticipation for their debut continued to build as a teaser video was released on September 19, leading up to their official debut on October 18, 2023, with the exciting mini-album "MACARONI CHEESE EP". Their talent and hard work soon garnered recognition, as YOUNG POSSE clinched the prestigious "Hot Potential Award" at The Fact Music Awards on September 9, 2024. The award ceremony, a two-day event held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on September 8-9, solidified their position as rising stars in the K-pop scene.
