The name "ATBO" embodies their spirit of creativity and originality, standing for At The Beginning of Originality. Interestingly, the group was originally meant to be called "ABO", but after fan concerns regarding its potential to be misinterpreted as a racial slur in certain regions, the name was thoughtfully changed to "ATBO". On May 6, 2024, IST Entertainment made the announcement that Rakwon would be departing from ATBO for health reasons. However, this setback did not dampen the group's determination, as the remaining six members continued to shine brightly as they pursued their musical endeavors.
