Deux, a K-pop duo consisting of Lee Hyun Do and Kim Sung-jae, first crossed paths as backup dancers for Korean rapper Hyun Jin-young. Their debut in 1993 with the self-titled album, Deux, marked the beginning of their musical journey, led by the hit song "Turn Around and Look at Me." Deux played a pivotal role in introducing hip hop and new jack swing to the Korean music scene, setting trends in choreography and fashion along the way. Following the success of their debut, Deux released three more albums before parting ways in 1995 to pursue solo careers. Tragically, Kim Sung-jae's solo debut was cut short when he was found dead the next day from a suspected drug overdose. Despite investigators discovering animal anesthesia in his system and linking it to a recent purchase by his girlfriend, the case remains unsolved due to lack of evidence. In the wake of Sung-jae's passing, Lee Hyun Do released a greatest hits album titled Deux Forever and ventured into producing and composing for other prominent K-pop artists. His talents have since been showcased on TV shows like YG Win and Show Me The Money, solidifying his legacy in the Korean music industry.
