TO1, previously known as TOO, was a talented nine-member boy group formed through the competitive show World Klass. Debuted on April 1, 2020, with their first mini album "Reason for Being: Benevolence," TO1 stands for "TOgether as 1." Originally managed by n.CH Entertainment and produced by Stone Music Entertainment, the group later joined Mnet's reality competition Road to Kingdom. Despite being the second group eliminated, TO1 continued to showcase their talent and resilience. With a name change in March 2021, TO1 made a fresh start under CJ ENM's music label, WAKEONE, with their EP Re:Born released on May 20. However, the group faced challenges with member departures and organizational changes. Notably, on April 30, 2022, Chihoon departed from TO1, followed by a temporary halt in group activities for re-organization. Despite these setbacks, TO1 remained determined to pursue their dreams. On September 22, Renta announced his departure, and by December 17, all members decided not to renew their contracts with WAKEONE. As they embark on new journeys, TO1 leaves behind a legacy of hard work, talent, and unforgettable music that continues to resonate with fans worldwide.
