SISTAR, a popular K-pop girl group, burst onto the Korean music scene in 2010 under the management of Starship Entertainment. The group, composed of talented members Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou, and Dasom, quickly won over fans with their infectious songs, powerful vocals, and captivating concepts. Before their official debut, SISTAR made a name for themselves by appearing in magazines and commercials, building anticipation for their arrival. Their debut single, "Push Push," was released on June 1, 2010, followed by a music video unveiling two days later. The group's first live performance took place on June 4, 2010, on the hit show, Music Bank. Unfortunately, in May 2017, it was announced that SISTAR would disband after releasing their final single, "Lonely," on May 31. Their emotional farewell performance took place on June 4, 2017, leaving fans heartbroken but grateful for the memories. Although SISTAR may have disbanded, each member continues to thrive in the music industry, supporting one another's solo endeavors. Notably, Soyou's hit song "Aloha" featured a collaboration with Bora, proving that the bonds formed in SISTAR transcend the group's disbandment.

During a recent YouTube appearance, SISTAR's Soyou spoke candidly about her extensive work schedule during her 12 years with Starship Entertainment. She revealed that she never received a proper break, even when requesting time off to study music abroad. Soyou now prioritizes taking a month-long trip each year to recharge.
SISTAR's Soyou gave fans a glimpse into her luxurious Seoul apartment, which costs approximately $8,800 USD per month. She initially planned to live there until marriage but has decided to move out as her plans have changed. Soyou stated there's no longer a reason to stay in the costly residence.
