The group was formed by the renowned K-Pop Music Production department at Paekche Institute of Arts and is currently under the management of D Ocean Music. Ferry Blue made a splash in the K-pop scene with their debut single "Call My Name" on September 6, 2021. Despite facing changes within the group, with Yeji departing in 2022, Ferry Blue remains a powerhouse in the industry as a six-member group.
