The name 2NE1 symbolizes "New Evolution of The 21st Century" and can be pronounced as "To anyone" or "Twenty-one". Before their official debut, 2NE1 made a memorable appearance alongside their fellow labelmates BIGBANG in the commercial song "Lollipop" in 2009. Unfortunately, YG Entertainment announced their disbandment on November 25, 2016, with their final emotional single "Goodbye" released on January 21, 2017.
