TraxX, originally known as The TraX and TRAX, was a dynamic EDM trio from South Korea that was a part of SM Entertainment. The group was initially formed as a rock band by Lee Soo-Man and Yoshiki from X Japan in 2004, featuring members Typhoon Jay, Rose Minwoo, Attack Jungwoo, and X-Mas Jungmo. The name TraxX is derived from the stage names of its members - Typhoon, Rose, Attack, and X-Mas. Minwoo and Jungwoo eventually departed from the group, leading to TraxX becoming a duo with Jay and Jungmo. They transitioned to EDM music and brought in DJ and producer Ginjo, breathing new life into their sound. However, after a successful run releasing singles and mini albums, the group eventually disbanded in 2019 when Jay and Jungmo's contracts with SM Entertainment expired. Jay went on to pursue acting while Jungmo continued his music career collaborating with various artists. TraxX left a lasting impact on the K-pop music scene with their energetic performances and innovative sound.
