Shinhwa is a legendary K-pop boy group hailing from South Korea, managed by the esteemed Shinwa Company. The group, consisting of six talented members - Eric, Lee Min Woo, Kim Dong Wan, Shin Hye Sung, Junjin, and Andy, burst onto the K-pop scene on March 24th, 1998 with their debut album, 'Resolver'. Known for their unparalleled success, Shinhwa holds the title of being the longest-running boy band in K-pop history.
Following a successful run with SM Entertainment, the group ventured out on their own in 2003, signing with Good Entertainment. In a bold move in 2008, Shinhwa took control of their destiny by establishing their own company to manage their activities collectively. Despite facing setbacks due to mandatory military service, Shinhwa made an unforgettable comeback with their tenth album, 'The Return', in 2012, setting a precedent as the FIRST Korean boy band to continue their promotions post-military service.
In a monumental victory in 2015, Shinhwa secured the trademark rights to their group name after a 12-year legal battle, a milestone celebrated by both the members and their devoted fans. This auspicious day, May 29th, is now affectionately known as Shindependence Day. To mark their 20th anniversary, Shinhwa launched a special project, 'All Your 2018', which kicked off with a riveting performance on KBS Music Bank. The group also released a revamped version of their classic hit, "All Your Dreams", further solidifying their enduring presence in the K-pop industry.
