Golden Child is an energetic seven-member boy group signed under the talented Woollim Entertainment. Originally starting out with eleven members, they made their memorable debut on August 28, 2017 with their fantastic first mini album "Gol-Cha!". Six of the talented members were discovered through Woollim's W PROJECT, where they showed off their skills through a series of impressive releases. Joochan and the amazing trainee Soyoon dropped a collab single called "No One Like You" on January 20, 2017, while Jangjun and Youngtaek wowed fans with their single "Drought" the next month. In March, the dynamic trio of Daeyeol, Jaeseok, and Donghyun showcased their amazing talents as a performance unit. Unfortunately, on January 7, 2018, Jaeseok had to leave the group due to health issues. However, the future was bright as on August 27, 2024, Woollim Entertainment revealed that seven out of the original ten members had signed on to renew their contracts. Sadly, the three members who chose not to renew their contracts, Tag, Jibeom, and Bomin, would be moving on from the group and the agency.
