Bebop, a dynamic female pop-rock trio under HMI Entertainment, took the music scene by storm with their unique blend of jazz-inspired tunes. The band's name, derived from a genre of jazz and standing for "BE BEST OF POP," reflected their commitment to delivering top-notch performances. They officially debuted on February 14, 2014, with the release of their mini-album "Between Calm and Passion." Prior to their debut, Bebop consisted of two members, A-Yeon and Juwoo, who collaborated with Humming Urban Stereo on the single "Maem Maem" in August 2013. As the group evolved, more members joined and left until they settled on a lineup that included Jang Hyeri, who was later known as Ji In. Bebop made a splash on Season 1 of Asia's Got Talent in 2015, reaching the semi-finals before facing elimination. Unfortunately, health issues prompted Ji In and Juwoo to depart from the group in October 2015, leading to Bebop's eventual disbandment in 2015. Despite their brief time in the spotlight, Bebop's impact on the K-pop scene lives on in the hearts of their dedicated fans.
