2PM is a dynamic six-member boy group that belongs to the reputable JYP Entertainment agency. Their exhilarating journey began on September 4, 2008 with the release of their debut single album, "Hottest Time of the Day". Originating from the larger eleven-member boy band One Day, 2PM emerged as one of the two captivating subgroups. The inception of 2PM came to fruition when the talented members were handpicked by Korean musical visionary Park Jin-young, following the division of One Day into two distinctive groups – 2PM and 2AM. Making an impactful entrance into the K-pop scene, 2PM dazzled audiences with their dynamic dance moves in their debut track "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" (10점 만점에 10점, lit. "10 Points Out of 10 Points"). Their stellar rise to fame culminated in their first chart-topping single, "Again & Again". Their electrifying singles paved the way for the release of their debut studio album, The First Album 1:59PM, in 2009.
