AND2BLE Signs with Epic Records Japan for Official Japanese Debut

AND2BLE — the five-member group featuring former ZEROBASEONE members Jang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, and Han Yujin, plus Yoo Seungeon — is officially gearing up for a Japanese debut. According to Edaily, the group's agency YH Entertainment has signed a contract with Epic Records Japan for AND2BLE's formal entry into the Japanese music market. Epic Records Japan is a label under Sony Music Labels, which is part of Sony Music Entertainment Japan.

Who Is AND2BLE?

AND2BLE came together after ZEROBASEONE — the group that debuted through Mnet's idol survival show Boys Planet — concluded its activities. Four of the new group's members, Jang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, and Han Yujin, were all part of that original ZEROBASEONE lineup. The fifth member, Yoo Seungeon, is also a Boys Planet alumnus and was previously a member of the group EVEN. Together the five officially launched AND2BLE earlier this year.

A Record-Breaking Korean Debut

Before setting their sights on Japan, AND2BLE made a massive splash in Korea. According to Edaily, the group's debut mini album Sequence 01: Curiosity sold 730,000 copies in its first week — making it the fourth-highest debut album first-week sales figure in K-pop history. That kind of chart performance out of the gate signals that AND2BLE arrived with serious momentum, and now the group is ready to bring that energy across to Japanese fans. With Epic Records Japan — a major Sony Music label — backing their rollout, AND2BLE's Japanese debut is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated K-pop launches in the market this year.
